Mayor of Homewood
Mayor McClusky has lived in Homewood his entire life and served on the council for 2 terms. He and his wife Leah have three children.
Carlos Alemån
City Council - Ward 2 - Place 1
Councilor Alemán is the Deputy Director of the Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama. He serves on the boards of the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, the Literacy Council of Central Alabama, and Red Mountain Park. He is passionate about education, public outdoor spaces, entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for others. A first generation immigrant from Nicaragua, Carlos grew up in San Francisco. He received his BA in History and Latin American/Latino Studies from UC Santa Cruz and his Ph.D. in History from Michigan State University. Carlos has lived in West Homewood since 2016 with his wife Mercedes, their daughter Amelia, and dog Lulu.

Andrew Wolverton
City Council - Ward 2 - Place 2
Councilor Wolverton was born in Starkville, Mississippi and has lived in Homewood for five years. He works as an outpatient physical therapist at Children's of Alabama. He and his wife, Trista, moved to Homewood from Seattle and have three children.
