Last Market of the Season - National Night Out at the West Homewood Farmers Market

The West Homewood Farmers Market Newsletter

Join us for a special evening of community celebration at the West Homewood Farmers Market on Tuesday, August 6th, from 5 PM to 8 PM. This event marks the culmination of our market season and coincides with National Night Out, a nationwide initiative that fosters stronger relationships between the community and local emergency services.

National Night Out is celebrated on the first Tuesday of August in communities across the country. It provides a unique opportunity for residents to meet and thank the men and women who work tirelessly to keep us safe and healthy. Homewood’s Police, Fire, and other rescue departments will be on-site to engage with the community, offering a chance for families to connect with our local heroes.

At the West Homewood Farmers Market, you’ll find a diverse array of vendors offering everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to baked goods, eggs, honey, and specialty items. Whether you’re stocking up on farm-fresh produce or looking for unique, locally-made products, there’s something for everyone. As you shop, enjoy live entertainment from Cheyloe’s Sleepless Knights, performing from 6 PM to 8 PM, adding a lively atmosphere to your market experience.

This is our final market of the season, and we’re excited to have the opportunity share this special night with the community each year. The market is located at 160 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL 35209, and has been open every Tuesday throughout June and July.

Come out and enjoy a night of family fun, community connection, and support for local businesses. We look forward to seeing you there!

If you have questions about the market, contact Jessica Harris at 833-WESTHWD (937-8493) or community@westhomewood.com.
