The West Homewood Farmers Market is delighted to announce Trvl Love Koffee as one of our vendors this market season. Trvl Love Koffee is a woman powered, minority owned, Alabama made business. It was launched by Georgia Craig and Mrmoore Maestro in 2021. Georgia is proud to be a Homewood High School alumni and a Birmingham resident. Aligning with the mission of the market, which is to become champions of taking care of Alabama’s land and animals, Trvl Love Koffee enthusiastically encourages sustainable farming practices and only buys from farmers who treat and pay their workers fairly. “Our main goal is to teach people about the origins of coffee and to show them how valuable each and every farm is the most important part of the process. With out them we would not have the gift of coffee,” as stated on the Trvl Love Koffee Facebook page. All of their coffee is 100% organic and fair trade, which means their coffee is sourced without using any slave or child labor. Additionally, all of their products are packaged and served with recyclable materials.
Trvl Love Koffee prides itself in giving back to the community. To do this, Trrvl Love Koffee gives 5% of total profits to local nonprofit organizations, such as organizations that support urban farmers right here in Birmingham. Trvl Love Koffee also supports the restoration of our climate and fights for gender equality. When asked about why she loves being a part of West Homewood Farmers Market, Georgia stated, “I love being a part of the market because it gives me an opportunity to connect directly back with the community.”
